“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that all men are without excuse.” This is what Romans 1:20 says about how God’s creation reveals aspects of His character to us. Using a camera as a tool to share this revelation with others, Creation in Focus is dedicated to the proclamation of the truth of God’s Word and the good news that it contains. This good news is that Jesus Christ has provided the only means of reconciliation with God through his death on the cross and his resurrection from the dead (Romans 3:21-26; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4). The Lord God wants everyone to repent of their disobedience towards Him and to believe in Him; He graciously gives those who do this the gift of eternal life (2 Peter 3:9; John 3:16; Romans 6:23).

 

   This is not the only gift the Lord has given us. Since the beginning, when God created mankind, He has given us stewardship over the earth and everything in it (Genesis 1:28). As stewards of the earth, we have wonderful opportunities to learn about the things God has made. Miraculously designed, everything in creation has a story to tell about its Creator. Telling that story is the mission of Creation in Focus. Through quality documentaries and photographs, this important mission is being fulfilled. As we learn more about God’s creation, may we also grow in our understanding of our Creator!
